Oyster publishes EOR pricing of $699 per employee per month and states compliant employment coverage in 120+ countries. Its public pricing also identifies several terms that can materially affect cash flow: a refundable deposit for EOR team members, an FX fee when payment currency differs from contract currency, and discounted annual seats.
Oyster’s public pages are useful because they expose more than a headline fee. The annual-seat option can suit stable headcount because a vacated seat may be reused, but the official help article says annual payments are non-refundable. A short or uncertain hiring plan therefore needs a term-by-term comparison with monthly pricing.
What the public price does—and does not—tell you
Oyster says setup, onboarding, HR-expert access and termination processing are included in the subscription fee. Employer costs and benefits still need a country- and employee-specific breakdown.
The number here is the provider’s published EOR service fee, not total employment cost. Salary, statutory employer charges, benefits, deposits, FX, special support and termination costs must be modelled separately.

- How much is the deposit, where is it held and exactly when is it returned?
- What FX fee and rate apply to our funding and payroll currencies?
- Does an annual seat remain reusable across countries, salary bands and replacement hires?
