What you get

Questions before you start
- What is in the $99 packet?
- A pro forma Form 1120 for the right year, pre-filled and marked "Foreign-owned U.S. DE"; Form 5472 with Parts I to V and VII filled; a Part V statement of contributions and distributions; a fax cover sheet with the page count and the mailing address; and an answer sheet with a filing checklist.
- Which LLCs is it for?
- A single-member LLC owned by one foreign person and treated as a disregarded entity. It is not for multi-member LLCs (they file Form 1065), LLCs that elected to be taxed as a corporation, or a foreign corporation’s own return.
- How do I file it?
- The pro forma 1120 with Form 5472 cannot be e-filed. Fax or mail it to the IRS by April 15, or by October 15 if you filed Form 7004 for an extension. The packet prints the fax number and address.
- I never filed for past years. What now?
- The Catch-up packet ($199) builds every past year and adds a reasonable cause statement. The penalty is $25,000 per form per year, so catching up before the IRS writes to you matters.
