What you get

Questions before you start
- What do I get for $39?
- Per applicant: the official Form W-7 (Rev. December 2024) pre-filled, an answer sheet with every line including what to write by hand, a cover sheet with the checklist, where to send it and processing time, what to attach in order, and an additional-documents sheet when you send more than one ID.
- Are you a Certifying Acceptance Agent?
- No. We prepare the paperwork only. To have your passport checked in person instead of mailing it, use a Certifying Acceptance Agent or an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center.
- Do you need my passport number?
- No. Tax ID and document numbers are left blank for you to write by hand.
- How long does the IRS take?
- About 7 weeks, or 9 to 11 weeks from January 15 to April 30 or when you apply from abroad.
