Questions before you start

What do I get for $79?
A PDF packet for one tax year: the official Form 3520 pre-filled where supported, a Part IV answer sheet in form order, a cover letter to the IRS ready to sign, a mailing checklist with the Ogden address, a gift letter template for your lender and a due-date calendar file. You sign and mail it yourself.
Do you ask for my SSN or keep what I type?
No. The wizard never asks for your SSN or other ID numbers; you write those on the form by hand. Your draft stays in this browser, and the PDF is built when you download it.
I missed the deadline. Which packet do I need?
The Late Filer packet ($149). It adds a reasonable cause statement with your facts filled in, attached behind the form. The penalty for a late Part IV is 5% of the gift for each month late, up to 25%, so file as soon as you can.
What does the wizard not cover?
It prepares Part IV only: gifts and bequests from foreign persons. It does not prepare the foreign trust parts (Parts I to III) or Form 3520-A. If a foreign trust is involved, work with a CPA.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If the packet is unusable, contact us within 7 days of purchase to request a refund.
